Meet The Face Behind Royal Protection Group, LLC

I’m Gary Cohen, the proud owner of Royal Protection Group, LLC. I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

After ten years as a pharmacist, in 1978, I joined my father in the alarm business, and together we started Royal Protection Group, LLC, in 1982. In the decade-plus I have been in the industry, much has changed. Technology has evolved for the better. Electronics and equipment are more sophisticated, and installation requires a higher level of knowledge. Now, our clients can use their mobile devices to access and control many of our systems.

I most enjoy designing fire alarm systems and working with new and existing clients. Having the ability to implement new ideas with the freedom and flexibility of being my own boss is the most rewarding part of owning my business.

My philosophy is to provide positive employee and customer relationships and to exceed our client’s expectations in design and application.

Why I’ve been successful

As an individual, what sets me apart from others is my honesty and integrity. I attribute my success to hard work, long hours, and dedicated employees.

Finishing a long and complex project and knowing it was done right and the client was happy with the results has always given me immense satisfaction over the years.

During my downtime

I usually spend my leisure time in my yard gardening when I am not at work. I like to trim and water the plants. I also enjoy watching our local teams play football and baseball on TV.
